Mandala Flow State
Commissioned by the San Francisco Asian Art Museum as part of Awaken: A Tibetan Buddhist Journey Toward Enlightenment, Mandala Flow State takes the user through an immersive journey of a 3D mandala. The journey is clouded by fog that must be cleared by focusing one's mind, which is analogous to a meditative state as measured by brain activity. This experience unifies traditional Buddhist practices and modern technological enhancement of self-regulation, which share the common goal of enlightenment.
